America is Like Sodom And Gomorrah

Sodom and Gomorrah were cities filled with sin and wickedness. The Lord destroyed these cities because of the behavior of the people. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the story, I’ll give you a brief summary:

Three angels visited Abraham. Two of them went with Abraham to witness the wicked cities first hand. The Lord (the third visitor) did not go. The Lord told Abraham that he would destroy the cities because of their wicked ways. Abraham asked the Lord to spare the cities if he could find righteous people living in them. The Lord agreed not to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah if ten righteous people lived there.

Abraham’s nephew, Lot, met the two angels at Sodom’s gate. He took them to his home and fed them. All of the men in the city gathered around Lot’s home and said, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.” (Genesis 19:5). As the men tried to break down Lot’s door, the angels struck the men with blindness and lead Lot, his wife and two daughters out of the city. The angels told them not to look back. Lot’s wife disobeyed and was turned into a pillar of salt. The Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah and everything in it with fire. Sexual deviancy was not the only issue the Lord had with Sodom. The city was also filled with greed, pride, idol worship and selfishness.

The same behavior that took place in Sodom and Gomorrah is occurring today in America. I posted a story not too long ago about a man who stabbed his friend because he wouldn’t change positions during a threesome. Women are bragging about their use of sex toys and exploiting themselves for money. Men are celebrating their own sexual promiscuity, perversion and deviance. The musical talent of an artist is causing people to overlook and even accept their wicked lifestyles. Men are dressing and acting as women and women are acting as men. There are way too many television shows and songs that glamorize these behaviors and try to justify it as “fun”. Too many people are out for self and will do almost anything for money. There is an overwhelming number of abortions that occur each day. It also seems that people are more in love with entertainment than they are with the most high.

Wickedness is being accepted and society is getting worse. Pornography, homosexuality, lesbianism, promiscuity, adultery, bestiality, pedophilia, violence, prostitution and abortion is all around us. More and more people are moving further away from God.

America is heading down a destructive path. Now is the time to wake up. Like Minister Farrkhan said, “Satan Has Made Evil Fair Seeming To The People.”
